Welcome to Speaking For Success, our monthly Networking Group for Public Speakers & Presenters

Speaking For Success, a support group for those interested in monetizing their businesses through public speaking.
For details, directions & to RSVP, please go to: www.MeetUp.com/Speaking-For-Success

Whether you are already a professional speaker, or want to improve your presentation skills, or wish to plan a speaking career, you’ll find our group valuable.

This group will include education, resources, and be an opportunity to connect with people who are looking for speakers.

We will meet at 9:30am-11:00am on the 1st Tuesday of each month. The location is: Old Rip’s Tex Mex Restaurant, 3105 Cockrell, Fort Worth, Texas 76109 (one store just south fo Fuzzy’s Taco Shop).

Here is what we do:

After a brief greeting, we have ALL participants introduce themselves by sharing 2 topics they speak on, 2 groups they speak to, and their name.

Next, we’ll have a drawing for a 3-minute impromptu speech by any attendee.

Next, we’ll have 2 scheduled 15-minute speakers who’ll share some aspect of speaking.

Lastly, After our speakers, we’ll go into 30-minute “Breakout Sessions” with the speakers so attendees can broaden their perspectives on the topics & get their questions answered.

We will have tables available for speakers, trainers, agents, classes to help, etc.

The meeting will be dismissed at 11:00. (Of course, if those who aren’t interested in ”Breakout Sessions”, they may leave at 10:30.)

Mae Hoover & I have determined that we will offer this meeting for FREE so our attendees can possibly purchase the products brought by our speakers & sponsors. Sometime in the near future, we will revisit the cost as we add more services and attract national speakers.

After the meeting, all are welcome to go on to lunch together. There are wonderful restaurants close by. Since we are 2 blocks south of the Texas Christian University campus, there are plenty of places to choose from.

You are welcome, so come participate with us!

With respect,
Forrest Allen Ward
